Avoid this place at all costs.
I took two brand new items to be altered. One I needed in three days one the weekend after. I was told that the first a maxi dress which needed shortening and the front split adjusting would be ready after 10am Saturday morning. The cost for this was £34. A bit steep I thought by I was assured it would be quality work. On examining the dress I was upset and horrified. The stitching on the hem was so badly done. It was wonky and uneven and puckered on the end. The stitching on the split at the front was now uneven and visible. I had no alternative but to wear my ruined £85 dress.
We tried on three occasions the following week to retrieve the other garment. Opening times mean nothing so don't go by the website.
I eventually retrieved my other garment today which I refused to pay for and haven't yet tried on.
The excuse given for the poor workmanship was that I wanted it quickly.
She offered to do my dress again but I wouldn't trust her to touch any garment of mine again.
I will now need to find a good seamstress to repair the mess she has made.
This has been a really bad experience hence my review.
