Thanks a geek for replacing my iPhone screen in just a few hour’s, also for sending a comprehensive email , which helped me get a refund from the shop I originally purchased it from. Very glad you were recommended to me bye my sister, I would recommend you to anyone. JUNE.

Half hour before closing and masked due to Covid 19 but the staff were very kind and helpful to me (an obvious ignoramus with anything about computers). Gave them two Kindles which had stopped working to see if anything could be done. The older one, I was advised, turned out to be far too expensive to repair as needed part from China - during pandemic. The other kindle was repaired as I waited - and they apologized for me having to wait ten minutes as it needed charging a little before it could be repaired.
The Kindle was charged but most surprisingly I was not.
The staff sorted everything out, gave me the advice that I needed and made no charge for their time. If anything goes wrong again I will use A Geek but insist on paying next time.

My HP laptop crashed. Non responsive. Took it into A Geek in Chesterfield located on West Bars roundabout. The guys were friendly and welcoming. In no time at all they worked out it needed a new hard drive and explained the various options. Decided on a new hard drive replacement for £120. The guys said it would be like getting a brand new laptop. I received regular updates by email and another email to say that the job was complete. So within just a few hours the laptop was repaired same day. Excellent very professional service. No hesitation at all, if you need a repair these guys will take care and sort you out at great speed.

Very professional service. I went in to get the camera fixed on my laptop, they were helpful in solving the issue and also charged me no fee which was much appreciated.

Hi
I recently provided the GEEK store on west bars with a Video of my wedding, taken by a friend, in 1998.
They assured me that it could be put on Disc, and enhanced if possible, for the entire recording.
WHAT A FANTASTIC PIECE of WORK they did.
The 2 Discs i had produced were far better than the original Video recording i had provided.
Many thanks, once again, to a great team.

Polite knowledgeable friendly service they repaired my PC tablet within the day. It only turned out to be a loose connection inside, charges were very reasonable I would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again should have any phone, laptop or tablet problems.
There is a poster on the counter which explains their customer codes of conduct, how they will treat you and what to expect regarding your visit to the store, not many companies around that offer this high level of personal service.

Hardly believe the 1 star review below. These guys are Professional and not stupid enough to not charge a phone. If they were so stupid why would they still be in operation for the past 9 years.

Professional service and a Truly great Electronics Repair Centre. The staff are knowledgeable and are genuinely 'geeky' guys. If one member of staff doesn't have all the knowledge they need to call themselves a geek then they have a geek in that field. The guy i was speaking to mainly worked on Laptops and Desktops and they had a geek who was able to talk to me about my car radio. The fix he suggested worked!
